Risk of scalding Hot detergent solution must be cooled before being drained. Housing and control panel Washing drum ­ Remove detergent residue immediately. ­ Do not clean with a water jet. ­ Remove any foreign objects from the drum and rubber seals. ­ Leave the washing machine door open so that the drum can dry out. ­ Use chlorine-free cleaning agents; observe the manufacturer's instructions. Never use steel wool. Detergent drawer If there are detergent or care product residues: Pull out the detergent drawer as far as possible. Clean the detergent drawer and fabric softener compartment insert under running water. This should not be necessary if the correct detergent dosage has been used. If it is necessary, however, proceed according to the descaling agent manufacturer's instructions. [. . . ] After connecting the water supply hose: ­ Open the water tap carefully, checking the leak tightness of the connection points. ­ Caution: The screw connection is under mains water pressure. Water drainage Drainage into a siphon ­ Do not kink the drain hose or pull it lengthways. ­ Height difference between the installation surface and the drain: max.
